A Sign I Don't Understand

This message has been on the billboard of the B.A.S.I.C. (Brothers And Sisters In Christ) ministry center on my campus for several weeks. I just don't get it.

Is it a joke? Do they mean it to be taken at face value? Surely not, as such a statement would win them immediate disapproval on this campus.

What am I missing here? Does anyone know what they're trying to say?

Perhaps they are trying to get peoples attention and really it means that science and faith can coexist. Like its a sign of what people think that Christians might say but really don't.

I suspect it's an ill-considered and poorly phrased attempt to challenge the theory of evolution.

Personally, I think they'd be better off quoting the following line from Hamlet:

"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
